Want to know more about USDA Knowledge Areas? Knowledge Areas are a classification scheme for USDA research, education, and Extension activities. The document entitled, "Knowledge Area Classification System for Research, Education, and Extension" provides a description of each Knowledge Area.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should the value of volunteer time be added to the “Other small grants” section? No. The "Extension Reporting” section includes volunteer hours. Those hours will be used to calculate the value of volunteer time contributions. This approach ensures that the same value per hour of volunteer time will be used.
