  Moving Between Main Application Features

The tabs located at the top of each page are used to move between the main sections of eFARS.

 

"You are here" Tracking

The "You are here" tracking is on the top of each topic and sub-topic page. Click on any topic in the tracking line and return to that screen. In the illustration below, clicking on "M. Teaching and Advising", returns you to the "Teaching and Advising" main page.

 

Expanding and Compressing the Report Outline

The Report Outline has several sections. The plus sign icon is used to expand the sections. Click on the plus sign icon or the corresponding text to expand that section of the report.

The "Resume" section is expanded to show the sub-sections: "Education, Certifications, Positions and Memberships." Click on one of the sub-section names to open the data entry screen for that section.

Clicking the screen caption minus icon or corresponding text would be used to compresses the main "Resume" section.
