eFARS Update!October 2006 AnnouncementsWhen are faculty annual reports due? All reports are due by midnight on January 15, 2007. New eFARS and Planning and Reporting Manager: Joe Hunnings is the new eFARS help desk and the planning and reporting help desk manager. Joe comes to us from an Extension Specialist position on the state 4-H staff. He has also served VCE as an agent and a district director. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the position.
Selecting more than one USDA Knowledge Area: Several of you said that you wanted to select more than one USDA Knowledge Area. We added a pull-down menu to each scholarly work so that you can classify each to a USDA Knowledge Area. This will enable us to write a better annual Federal Report for the USDA, and to rapidly generate accomplishments from eFARS to show our stakeholders, including potential donors. Frequently Asked QuestionsMy report lists my current graduate students and I did not put them there. Where did those data come from? We imported data from the CALS Graduate Tracking Application from the departments. This was done to save you time. Have a question or suggestion? |
